I guess the upside is that he made it to the final pairing on Sunday but after exploding on Sunday, I wonder if Mike Weir wouldn’t have been happier to have been middle of the pack and out of the spotlight. It is one thing to go out and 78 and have no one watching but to do so on Sunday in the final pair and having the North American golf world watching is another thing. Let’s hope his game bounces back. 

It was also tough to watch for me because I spent more of Saturday complaining how the networks wouldn’t show Mike despite being in the lead. Instead we had to overdose on Bill Murray and his antics. Granted, he is a funny dude and I can handle watching him from time to time, this was a PGA event so please show me some golf.
