I thought it fitting for my first post to be about the first golf course(s) in Canada.

It turns out the first established golf club in North America was the Royal Montreal Golf Club, founded in 1873. Toronto didn’t get on the ball (pardon the pun) until 1881. Oh well, at least we have a better hockey team
