I have an Ogio StraightJacket Travel Bag, and it works quite well, though aside from some extra padding up top, there isn't a whole lot of protection. That being said, I haven't had any clubs damaged.

The bag also happens to be bright yellow, so it's quite easy to spot at the 'oversized clubs' dropoff at the airport!

My wife has one of those canvas BagBoy bags...that provides next to 0 protection...so I'd steer clear of those.

I borrowed a set of clubs from a girlfriend for this trip & was worried about the airlines, so once I bought my tickets I checked the airline website to confirm thier insurance policy on covering damage to golf clubs... Air Canada spells it right out that they won's cover damage to clubs in a soft travel case - so I invested in a fully hard-molded Bag Boy Hybrid HCX Travel Bag for $159 at golf town - what I like about this one is that it replaces your regular club bag when travelline, so you're not actually carrying club bags IN a hard case at twise the weight - when you're ready to golf remove the hart "top" and off to the course!

Now I am convinced its time for me to buy a set, but I am SO overwhelemed by the price, technology & styling options! They definately make money!
