Take This With a Grain of Salt….
Or a handful! Or two!
If you need a way to relax your tired feet, legs, shoulders and everywhere else that aches after summer long-weekend 27-hole rounds, try epsom salts. It’s the mineral magnesium sulfate, which when absorbed through the skin (like, in a lukewarm bath) it draws toxins out through the skin, sedates your nervous system (how it helps you fall asleep), reduces swelling, relaxes muscles and is even great for the look of your skin!
Often less than $5/1lb. bag, you can’t go wrong.
If your not a bath type of person, here are a few more tips for creative uses and benefits of epsom salts:

Thanks for the tip. Most people are magnesium starved and dehydrated anyway. We can’t get enough magnesium in a normal diet of food, which is leached of its magnesium unless it is organic. That’s why golfers have meltdowns and cramps. Golfers should take plenty of trail mix with almonds, walnuts and magnesium-rich, with constant hydrating and they won’t have the spasms during the game, but once back at home….ahhhhh,….. also, magnesium helps lower blood pressure.
