Overview:
In the shadow of Eagle's Nest Lookout and adjacent to the York River, this beautiful course winds through 500 acres of wooded terrain in Bancroft, Ontario. Players can tee off from any of the four tee boxes according to their skill level making it fun for the whole family. The course offers both yearly memberships and pay as you play rates.
Ontario Golf Magazine named River's Edge one of the Top 10 New Courses in 2006, the front nine is just over 2900 yards from the back tees and water comes into play on five of the holes. At just over 4000 yards from the back tees, the back nine is said to be the longest in Canada. The big hitters are going to be challenged and with a few narrow holes, finesse and accuracy are also the name of the game.
