Overview:
At Oxley Beach Golf Course, course designer Byron Hatfield tried to make this executive, 2,380 yard, par three course as challenging as he could. The result is Oxley Beach Golf Course is an excellent course for recreational golfers and beginners, but also a great site for the avid player to brush up on his or her short game. The lay of the land is fairly level, gently sloping toward the lake and marsh area. The layout at Oxley Beach Golf Course includes 16 sand traps and a small, natural pond. Tees are a mixture of Kentucky Bluegrass, fescue and perennial ryegrass. The greens are creeping bentgrass.
